Askar Smagulov
Deputy Chairman: Operating Activity and Information Technologies
Mr. Smagulov graduated from Kazakh State University with a degree in economics. In 1998 he received an MBA from the University of Rochester, USA. In 1999 Mr. Smagulov joined ABN AMRO Bank Kazakhstan and served as a Dealer of the Treasury, Head Dealer of the Treasury, Head of Trade Division of the Treasury and Treasurer of the Treasury. From 2005 to 2007 Mr. Smagulov worked at Halyk Bank as a Head of Treasury and since September 2007 he has acted as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
